1. smile at him   make eye contact

2. stretch the mouth and produce a lovely smile directed at him

   (maintain eye contact!!)

3. if not yet dead after accomplishing goal #2, open mouth and say ‘hey’

   (make sure it is audible and be careful not to make it sound like a croak!!)
